Those Who Make Life Difficult

Along with many beautiful things in our work, there can sometimes be situations that challenge, overwhelm and exhaust us. We can have difficulty coping with the stress of daily life. There can be many situations that do not go away when we rest, that cause us to continue where we left off when we return from vacation, and that we try to manage with our own internal energy but fail. What are these sources of stress?

Stress sources can be individual or institutional.

Individual sources:

  • Not using time well
  • Work-life balance problems
  • Insufficient personal energy
  • Career concerns
  • Job dissatisfaction
  • Non-SMART goals
  • Being alone
  • Concerns about the meaning of life
  • Fear of rejection
  • Overthinking
  • Irregular sleep

Institutional sources:

  • Excessive workload, unequal distribution
  • Frustration
  • Performance management and
  • Excessive and unbalanced responsibility
  • High and unrealistic goals and expectations
  • Working conditions
  • Excessive competition
  • Inability to delegate
  • Unclear job description
  • The job is boring or not suitable for the person
  • Lack of teamwork

Problems are solved. There is a solution to all these problems. It is possible to manage stress and make life easier by identifying these factors that make life difficult and developing strategies and coping skills based on resources. The important thing is to recognize the source of stress and be willing to produce a solution!
